If the concept makes you think of cars from the late 1930s, you are right. The concept has been inspired by the Grand Prix cars of Golden Era motorsports’ racing in the late 1930s that was marked with the distinct low slung shape, tall thin wheels and dramatic open-wheel design.
Dubbed the Enes GP, the concept is a futuristic vehicle designed for 2030. Conceived by Samir Sadikhov, the concept features 3 vertical wings in the rear for air-braking system, additional air-brake spoiler behind the cockpit, similar to one in aircraft to reduce wear on the traditional brakes and when the vehicle gushes at its top speed on the long straights, the air-brake is automatically activated.
The concept is not without the security features and has a panel behind the driver which is mechanically erected while braking, thus decreasing drag to a maximum and causing the car to slow down and stop much faster. And once the breaks are fully applied, the penal softly folds into place again.
Additionally, the concept has a most dramatic door mechanism of any vehicle so far as the entry to the vehicle is made by opening the forward sliding origami-like canopy. And while inside, the driver and the passengers have unimpeded 180 degree views for there is no A-pillars.
