But not infrequently, because of the emergence of the creatures so rare that only can be seen a few people, or because it is very dangerous, these creatures eventually only be a complement literature courses or just a legend story. Observer error due to the circumstances of being dive-bombed in a remote gloomy forest by a fierce snarling and clawing bird may well account for the apparent discrepancies.
Notwithstanding, the wood-owls of Java are not generally mentioned in cryptozoological discussions of the ahool, and most authors of cryptozoologial works seem to be entirely unaware of the birds' existence. It is 1 to 1.7 m (3 ft 3 in to 5 ft 7 in) tall with long arms and long rust-coloured woolly hair and is said to have yellowish-red skin under its coat. It has also been reported as having black or grey hair. Its feet are said to be about 12 cm (5 in) long with opposable toes. Alleged differences between it and known apes include a rounded forehead, small canines and its hair and skin colour.

When Hitchens was criticized and ridiculed, Cuthbert Burgoyne wrote a letter to the magazine in 1938 recounting his sighting of something similar in 1927 while coasting Portuguese East Africa in a Japanese cargo boat. They were close enough to shore that they could view the beach using a "glass of twelve magnifications" they watched a troupe of Baboons feeding and... " As we watched, two little brown men walked together out of the bush and down amongst the baboons. They were certainly not any known monkey and yet they must have been akin or they would have disturbed the baboons. They were too far away to be seen in great detail, but these small human-like animals were probably between four and five feet tall, quite upright and graceful in figure. At the time I was thrilled as they were quite evidently no beast of which I had heard or read. Later a friend and big game hunter told me he was in the Portuguese East Africa with his wife and three hunters, and saw a mother, father and child, apparently of the same species, walk across the further side of the bush clearing. Charles Cordier, a professional animal collector who worked for zoos and museums, followed the tracks of the kakundakari in Zaire in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Once, said Cordier, a Kakundakari had become entangled in one of his bird snares. "It fell on its face," said Cordier, "turned over, sat up, took the noose off its feet, and walked away before the nearby African could do anything".
Other names
The agogwe is also known as the kakundakari or kilomba in Zimbabwe and the Congo region. About 1.7 m (5 ft 7 in) tall and covered with hair, they are said to walk upright like humans.
In the Ivory Coast it is known as the sehite.

The Andean Wolf was first discovered with only a skin bought by a German animal-dealer, named Lorenz Hagenbeck in Buenos Aires in 1926. Hagenbeck sent the skin to Germany, where is was moved around to several museums, until it reached Munich. Dr. Ingo Krumbiegel in 1940, inspected the skin and claimed that it was a mountain species of the maned wolf. However, he refrained from producing a description of the species untill more evidence was found of its existance.
In 1947, Krumbiegel learned from Hagenbeck that when he bought the skin there were three others just like it. Krumbiegel, convinced that this creature was not simply a mongrel, related the skin to an unusual skull he had examined several years previous which had been collected in the Andes. The skull was 30 cm long, while the average of the others in the group was 25 cm. Krumbiegel publish a description of the Andean Wolf, and gave it the latin name Dasycyon hagenbecki.
The cat-fox is a possible new species of carnivoran discovered on the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo.
It was first discovered by Swiss-based environmental group WWF in 2003, using a night-time camera trap in Kayan Mentarang National Park. The mammal is slightly larger than a cat, with red fur, a long tail, and hind legs that are longer than the front legs. Its overall appearance is something between a cat and a fox. In some ways it resembles the Fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox) of Madagascar.
The WWF plans to set traps to capture and study the animal. If this proves to truly be a new species, it will be the first new carnivore discovered on Borneo since the Borneo Ferret Badger (Melogale everetti) in 1895. Other new mammals are discovered in Borneo with some regularity, for example the rodent Pithecheirops otion in 1993 and the bat Myotis gomantongensis in 1998. Some individuals have speculated that the animal in the photographs is a known (but exceedingly rare) species, Hose's Palm Civet (Diplogale hosei).
The Mothman is a cryptid reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia from November 12, 1966, to December 1967. Most observers describe the Mothman as a man-sized creature with large reflective red eyes and large wings. The creature was sometimes reported as having no head, with its eyes set into its chest.

Latin named of Animals Thylacinus cynocephalus is the largest modern carnivorous marsupial animal ever known. Regarded as the tiger, because his back is generally patterned stripes like a tiger. But some are calling the wolf, because the shape of his head does look like wolves. Animals that live in the continent of Australia and New Guinea was declared extinct in the 20th century. In Australia, these animals became extinct thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans to the continent of kangaroos, but had to survive on the island of Tasmania with a number of other endemic species, including the Tasmanian Devil. That Caused behind his name there are additional words Tasmania. Fossil found of this animal species indicates that he lived around the Miocene.

This animal was reportedly seen in several regions in Japan, except Hokkaido and the Islands Ryukku. Even the name comes from the population Tsuchinoko Kansai region including Kyoto, Mie, Nara, and Shikoku, which means 'animal'. In the Kanto region, this animal is called bachihebi. Tsuchinoko shaped like a snake, but paunchy such as bottles or bowling pins, and small-tailed rat-like tail. But until now the existence of the animal can never be proven (cryptid), and also had never been arrested. Allegedly, this occurred because in addition to the beholder feel scared, these animals also directly run away if anyone saw. Some local governments in Japan have to lure money to 100 million yen to anyone who can catch these animals, but to no avail.

Yeti or the Scary Snowman is a kind of large human-like primates that inhabit the Himalayan region in Nepal and Tibet. Names Yeti and Meh-tea is generally used widely by people in the region, and is regarded as historical narratives and myths that are still mysterious. Nepalese people also call it human bonmanche meaning wild or Kanchan also rachyyas which means devil kanchanjunga.

Ogopogo has been allegedly seen by First Nations people since the 19th century. The most common description of Ogopogo is a forty- to fifty-foot-long (12 to 15 m) sea serpent. It has supposedly been photographed and even been caught on tape.
Proponents of the Ogopogo's existence claim that the first documented sightings of the creature date back to around 1872, and occurred as the area was being colonized by European settlers.Perhaps the earliest mention of the Ogopogo was the story of a man in 1860 leading horses that were swimming across the lake near Rattlesnake Island. The first alleged film of the creature was made in 1968 by Art Holding. The film which is often incorrectly referred to as the 'Folden' Film shows a dark object propelling itself through shallow water near the shore. The film was shot from on a hill above the shore.
Ogopogo was allegedly filmed again in 1989 by a used car salesman, Ken Chaplin, who with his father, Clem Chaplin, claimed to have seen a snake-like animal swimming in the lake, which flicked its tail to create a splash. Some believe that the animal the Chaplins saw was simply a beaver, because the tail splashing is a well-known characteristic of beavers. However, Chaplin alleges the animal he saw was 15 feet (4.6 m) long, far larger than a beaver (beavers are approximately 4 feet (1.2 m) long). A few weeks later, Chaplin came back with his father and his daughter and filmed it again.
British cryptozoologist Karl Shuker has categorized the Ogopogo as a 'many hump' variety of lake monster, and suggested it may be a kind of primitive serpentine whale such as Basilosaurus. However, because the physical evidence for the beast is limited to unclear photographs and film, it has also been suggested that the sightings are misidentifications of common animals, such as otters, and inanimate objects, such as floating logs.Another suggestion is that the Ogopogo is a lake sturgeon.
